okay, we're in total agreement. guys like piatt don't buy anything without knowing the price. hell, he's probably setting the price.

Sam,

How about this? Create a Shadow Pittsburgh Task Force, a redevelopment committee dedicated to providing proposals and counter-proposals based on whatever limited public information there is.

We may not have money or friends in City Hall, but we do have opinions.

How about a wiki with every piece of property in the Forbes-Fifth corridor accounted for. Pictures, maps, and real estate information just one or two clicks away.

perfect solution, mark. as i said on another sam's post, instead us all beating up each other let's make sure that we get the word out to the pols and developers that even if the world isn't watching, someone has a suspect eye on them.

why can't we just be posotive about someone, finaly taking action. if anyone can do it lucas piatt is more than qualified and willing to get the job done and do it right. he doesn't care how much it costs- he's really about making a difference in the lives of pittsburghers. We need this and it is good for pittsburgh. maybe if people like you would stop being so negative about change, we would actually get things accomplished that really mean something to our city. but instead of acting on it, it becomes a long boring discussion and an argument about big corporate retailers taking over and what has failed in the past- blah blah blah. We should embrace the piatts with open arms and willingness to really make are city a better place. Why do you people always have to rain on the parade?!! join in on the revitalization and and get involved- everyone is open to new ideas - don't just be a complainer. "Join or Die"
