Are you moving out of town? Don't join the s--

Sam M

Nope. Into town. Sort of.

Bloomfield.

And I am in. Thank god.

Amos the Poker Cat

Didn't you move less than a year ago?

Sam M

Exactly a year ago.

To a place that did not work out so well.

It was a good house. And cheap. But we rented it site unseen. (It was a pretty bad time. The wife was bursting at the seemns with the twins. Out apartment in Silver Spring had just burned. Etc.)

Turns out that being way at the top of that hill was more of a challenge than we thought it would be. Basically, it was impossible to do anything with the kids without putting them in the car.

So yesterday we took a walk. The first real one in like a year. Like real people, almost.

Amos the Poker Cat

Ah, it was a rental. Still, moving a whole family with kids twice within a year. Shiver. But I understand the motivation. Better man than I gunga din. I still have not found stuff from moving 8 years ago.

still a renter! and a drain on county resources, damn.
